Calenders

KOBELCO STEWART BOLLING, INC. manufactures calenders from laboratory to 4-roll, full-size production models. All calenders can be fitted with a wide range of gauge and crown compensation devices including: Roller Bearings, Roll Bending, Zero Clearance Device, Cross Axis, and patented Hydraulic Roll Positioning. All Kobelco production calender roll and bearing block assemblies are tested on our hot roll test stand at operating temperatures. Prior to final assembly, KSBI measures toll concentricity and temperature profiles.

KSBI can also design and manufacture complete upstream and downstream components such as letoffs, accumulators and a wide range of material handling devices.
