6-Wing VCMT (patented) Tangential

KSBI has developed the NEWLY Patented "6" Wing Rotor. Designated as "6 WI Rotor". It utilizes a design concept called various clearance mixing technology or VCMT. VCMT uses tip clearances along circumferential and/or longitudinal direction.

Features

  • High output and mixing efficiency
  • High fill factor

  • Varying wing tip to chamber side clearances
  • Varying wing tip widths
  • Excellent ingredient dispersion
  • Increased material movement improves homogeneity
  • Steady temperature profile

Advantages

Improved Output of the "6WI" (Patented) in comparison to the "4 Wing" is up to an
AMAZING 20%. This is due to the VCMT's ability to "PULL IN" faster the materials into the mixing chamber, reduction of mooney viscosity, better and quicker carbon dispersion.

Whereby decreasing ram down time and ultimately reducing batch cycle the "6 WI" (Patented) rotors are completely interchangeable with the KSBI 2 and 4 Wing Rotors currently being used.

VCMT (Patented) Rotor Advantages

Small Tip Clearance:
Reduces dead area on mixer side
Improved cooling capacity
High Shear mixing
Excellent dispersion

Large Tip Clearance:
Allows greater movement of material
Improved mix homogeneity
Decreased friction heat
